Finland’s entry into NATO – the country rejected Turkey’s demand

It is noted that in early June, the Ministry of Justice of Finland received ten requests from Turkey for the extradition of representatives of the PKK and the Fethullah Gülen Movement. At the same time, Finland satisfied only two cases where people were not accused of terrorism. Both cases involved sexual offences.

According to the publication, Turkey also demanded that the Finnish authorities extradite a man convicted of setting fire to the embassy in Helsinki.
