From now on, only travelers with a negative Covid-19 test and proof of full Covid-19 vaccination or disease will be admitted to Finland.
A spokesman for the Finnish Border Guard told AFP that unvaccinated foreign nationals would be forced to return unless they were exceptional, Finnish, key workers or diplomats.
The new rules come into force today and apply to EU citizens.
“Regardless of the origin of the foreign national, everyone must present a vaccination certificate and a negative test that is not older than 48 hours,” a spokesman for the Finnish Border Guard explained.
