The list of candidates in Hauts-de-France is becoming clearer, with three new nominations in the Somme. Uncertainties persist in Aisne, Pas-de-Calais and the North.
The names are revealed gradually. If the union of the left called NUPES has already provided the names of all its candidates in the region, several constituencies do not yet have a candidate invested by the presidential majority.
Under the banner “Together” are grouped the parties that have formulated an agreement with the former LREM (suddenly renamed Renaissance): either, the Modem (of François Bayrou), Horizons (the party of Edouard Philippe) and Renaissance (led by Stanislas Guérini), but also Land of Progress, In Common and Acting.
If a parliamentary attaché told us recently that “All [devait] be closed for May 9″, it is clear that there has been a delay. A new wave of announcements took place on May 12, but there are still uncertainties.
In 2017, La République en Marche by Emmanuel Macron had already fragmented the announcements. There had been a first wave before the presidential election, then another afterwards. It is therefore perhaps a strategy, a trademark. But it is also perhaps the sign of negotiations that last and of the risk of dissidence over which we want to keep control as long as possible.

At the same time, to use one of Emmanuel Macron’s favorite expressions during his first term, there is little time left for campaigning. For this election where the two rounds will take place on June 12 and 19, 2022, registration in the prefecture will be open from May 16. The deadline for submission is May 20, 6 p.m.
If the list has grown significantly in recent days, 5 constituencies out of the 50 in the region do not yet have an official candidate invested by the majority.
And among them, the 15th, the one that Eric Dupont-Moretti seemed to be seeking for some time. “We can’t say that it’s a huge surprise to see the 15th of the North absent, nor the Pas-de-Calais, we miss the most unexpected”, analyzes Hélène Tonnellier, political journalist at the editorial staff of France 3 Hauts-de-France. Uncertainty also persists in the 21st in the North, and the 4th in Pas-de-Calais.
In the Aisne, we now know that it is Jeanne Doyez-Roussel who is seeking the succession of Jacques Krabal, of which she was the deputy and parliamentary assistant. The candidates from the two constituencies in the north of the department, namely the 2nd and 3rd, are now missing.
In the Somme, on the other hand, after several weeks of suspense, the list is finally complete. The former EELV Barbara Pompili, Minister of Ecology, will be back in the 2nd constituency of the Sommewhere she was elected under the LREM label in 2017.

We also know who will face the outgoing François Ruffin (NUPES) in the 1st: it is Pascal Rifflart. On Twitter, the candidate was quick to directly attack his opponents from France Insoumise and the National Rally, calling them “of extremists” and of “absolute threat“.
The investiture of Virginie Caron-Decroix was also announced this May 12 in the 5th, where she will face Guillaume Ancelet for LFI and Yaël Menache for the National Rally.
In the north
The Nord department is divided into 21 constituencies. Renaissance has currently invested nineteen applications. So two are missing. And among them, the 15th, the one that Eric Dupont-Moretti seemed to be seeking for some time. Doubt still hangs in the 21st as well.
On the other hand, we know that it is Delphine Alexandre, deputy mayor of Valenciennes, who will embark on the difficult 20th, that of the outgoing communist Fabien Roussel, presidential candidate.
For many there was no doubt but nothing was official yet, before the publication of this list of the presidential majority. Violette Spillebout, LREM referent for the North department is well invested in the 9th of the North.
A setback for Liberal MP Valérie Petit (Horizons) which is therefore not renewed by Ensemble in the 9th district of the North. His support for an LR list during the municipal elections may be one of the explanations to remember. She responds on social networks (tweet below) before promising a press conference without jargon on May 12.
I will raise the issue of political violence, particularly against women, which we must more than ever combat with force. In the meantime, I have decided to take a few days off to devote myself to my children and to the finalization of my next literary project entitled “Black Barons”.

A threat that does not worry the former chief of staff of Martine Aubry. Violette Spillebout has seen others. She prefers not to answer and appears with Vanessa Duhamel, a relative invested in the 1st North, the impossible constituency of the rebellious Adrien Quatennens.
In the reappointed leaversLaurent Pietraszewski, Secretary of State for Pensions and Occupational Health, in the North Eleventh. He is the other minister of the North invested with Gérald Darmanin who himself presented his candidacy in the 10th constituency, on May 5, 2022, the day of publication of the list.
Gérald Darmanin who will also see LR oppose him with a candidate in these legislative elections. The name is not yet disclosed but the principle is announced.
Among the newcomers, and on the left wing, Christine Decodtsin the 13th North, will be closely monitored. This close friend of Patrice Vergriete, mayor of Dunkirk, former socialist past DVG and displayed supporter of Emmanuel Macron for the Presidential 2022, has something to convince in a city which granted more than 51.35% to the President re-elected in the second round. Deputy mayor of Dunkirk and child of the country, she was still in the socialist ranks during the departmental elections of June 2021, as shown in Patrice Kanner’s tweet, below.
In the Oise
We now know the seven candidates invested in the Oise. There was still a doubt about the 1st, but it’s now official: it is Aurélie Joly who will face the outgoing Victor Habert-Dassault (LR), elected in June 2021 after the death of his predecessor, who was none other than his uncle Olivier Dassault.
In the 4th, we find the outgoing Eric Woerth who is therefore no longer a labeled LR but a candidate rallied to Emmanuel Macron under the Together banner. The president of the finance committee at the National Assembly, former minister of Jacques Chirac and Jean-Pierre Raffarin would see himself joining a future council of ministers. “France needs appeasement, but not an immobile, regressive appeasement. Everyone can be associated with the country’s success. It is a considerable work of justice and economic efficiency: a new way of governing for better reform”, he writes on Twitter.
Will the parachuted nephew be a candidate? Will he leave with Emmanuel Macron who paid tribute to Olivier Dassault at length during his disappearance or will he be faithful to the LR friendships of his family. Before May 10, everything must be completed for Together. The second wave should therefore not be long.
