The National Dramatic Center of Montluçon (Allier), the Théâtre des îlets, took over the city center this Saturday, June 5.
To celebrate the reopening of places of culture and the lightening of the health protocol, Caroale Thibaut, the director of the CDN, had involved all the artists, professionals or amateurs who brought the Théâtre des Îlets to life this season.
The medieval city as an open-air theater stage
Camille Rocailleux, Mathieu Ben Hassen, Elsa Granat or even the GEIQT, the Lalyre.com fanfare, the Jeune Troupe as well as the Chœur des îlets intervened artistically at the market in the medieval city in the morning, then during the afternoon, place Piquand, in the Wilson garden, Place Notre-Dame and the Louis II de Bourbon esplanade.
These are moments composed expressly for this day, specifies Carole Thibaut. We made proposals to each other and we looked at how we could marry them.

Bring poetry and show the role of art in everyday life

These activities continue this Sunday, June 6 at the Parc des îlets with the presentation of Totem at 11 a.m., the latest creation by choreographer Philippe Menard. After the picnic break, artistic walks, guided by the artists who spoke the day before in the city center, will take place from 2 p.m. Departures will take place every hour until 6 p.m.
