Tudor is inseparable from his younger brother Pavel, until one day the boy disappears without a trace while playing in the street. For years, Tudor tried unsuccessfully to uncover the truth about his little brother’s fate and, in order to undertake the investigation himself, he devoted himself to training to become an elite police officer. On the eve of his graduation, he is given his first secret mission: to infiltrate Romania’s largest criminal group known as “The Clan”.
To do this, Tudor staged a spectacular action scene, showing up armed to the police academy graduation, after which he was wrongly convicted and taken to a cell with a man known to be a member of the large mafia organization . Thanks to his special talents, the undercover policeman in prison quickly manages to make friends with him and win his trust, with which he ensures a smooth transition to the legendary “clan”.
There, he immediately captures the attention of the main boss, who takes him under his wing as a confidant. Meanwhile, David, another young graduate of the police training program, is also struggling to graduate with honors. In reality, however, he grew up surrounded by the same mobster in whose gang Tudor is now enlisted, and his job is to become a “clan” mole in the police force.
Tudor quickly guesses that David is an undercover criminal who has infiltrated the system with the opposite of his mission, but everything turns 180 degrees for him when he realizes that he is actually his long lost brother. It turns out that little Pavel has been kidnapped to be specially trained as an insider of a “clan” of the Romanian police. Now, years later, Tudor and David face each other on both sides of the law in a merciless battle, the consequences of which he will keep eagerly awaiting spectators.
Launched in Romania in September 2022, ‘The Clan’ surpassed the success of its predecessor – ‘Vlad’ and became the most popular series of the CME family channel – PRO TV – in our northern neighbour. Bulgarian viewers will enjoy episodes of the action-drama-packed series just weeks after their premiere there. The director and screenwriter of “The Clan” is Angel Damian, known in our country as Adrian from “Vlad”. We will see rising stars Denis Khanganu and Marian Olteanu in the lead roles. They will take on the role of the two brothers Tudor and David, whom fate unites and transforms into enemies.
