Since your hormones ebb and flow over a four-week period, your menstrual cycle biologically has three distinct periods:
• The first stage: follicular (pre-egg release) between the first and fourteenth day.
• The second phase: the ovulatory process of egg release between the fifteenth and seventeenth day.
• The third phase: luteal (release of the egg) after the release of the egg between the eighteenth and the twenty-eighth day.
As for the menstrual cycle, it is the fourth phase between the first and fifth day of “cycle synchronization”.
The first step”follicular”
This is the stage where you will feel most creative. The phase begins soon after the bleeding stops, when reproductive hormones are at their lowest. This is known as a phase of new beginnings, when slight increases in estrogen in the brain make you feel curious, inspired, and in a state of planning.
The second phase“Ovulatory”
Your confidence is high, as is your ability to communicate effectively. This phase occurs for three to four days in the middle of the cycle when estrogen and testosterone levels reach their peak. These hormonal changes light up the verbal and social areas of your brain, encouraging energy that is outwardly focused.
The third “luteal” stage.
This phase is the longest of your cycle. During this time, estrogen and progesterone levels rise and energy begins to decline.
As your energy levels decrease towards the end of this phase, you may find yourself more focused within. This occurs when a pre-existing syndrome occursMensesPremenstrual syndrome (PMS) is caused by estrogen dominance, so you may experience cramps, swelling, or acne.
The fourth stage“Menses”
From the first day of bleeding to the last day of bleeding, hormone levels are low. This causes more fatigue.
At this point in the cycle, you are able to better process how you feel about it to determine the best path to take.
