Al-Ahly left-back Mohamed Ashraf’s chances of participating in his side’s match against Tala’a Al-Jaish next Friday have become difficult, in light of the player’s complaint of a pulled back muscle which suffered during his participation in his team’s last match against Arab Contractors in the Egypt Cup.
Al-Ahly’s coaching staff, led by Marcel Koller, will decide Mohamed Ashraf’s position on continuing to lead the red team’s front left during the match against Tala’a Al-Jaish next Friday in the fifth round of the league competition Egypt, after the player complained of an injury in the Arab Contractors’ last match in the Egypt Cup.
Mohamed Ashraf complained of a back muscle strain at the end of his team’s match against El Mokawloon, and completed the match after the red team used up his six changes in extra time of the match, and there was no chance to make substitutions.
In the absence of Ali Maaloul, the main left-back, who is with his country to participate in the World Cup currently underway in Qatar, and the injury of Ayman Ashraf, there is more than one player nominated to participate in the main and lead the front left, like Karim Fouad and Raafat Khalil, as well as Karim Al-Dabis and Mazen Abdullah Dhahiri, the left wing of the Red Castle youth team, although Karim Fouad or Raafat Khalil were closest to participating -Tala ‘a match.
