Find out how many cases of coronavirus there are in your county

There are six municipalities in Portugal with more than 1000 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus: Lisbon leads with 2076, follow Vila Nova de Gaia with 1529, Port with 1336, Matosinhos with 1250, Braga with 1199 and Gondomar with 1065, according to data released this Thursday in the epidemiological bulletin of the General Directorate of Health (DGS).

The North has the highest number of deaths, 717, followed by Lisbon and the Tagus Valley with 297, the central region with 232, the Azores with 15, the Algarve with 15 and the Alentejo with one dead. In Madeira there are no dead to mourn.

See the full list from county to county below. When confirmed cases are below 3, for reasons of confidentiality, the data are not presented, informs the DGS. The information presented refers to the total of clinical notifications in the SINAVE system, corresponding to 90% of confirmed cases. Data by county of occurrence.

There are already 1277 dead and 29 912 cases of covid-19 in Portugal, according to data released this Thursday in the epidemiological bulletin of the General Directorate of Health (DGS). Another 14 dead and 252 infected in 24 hours.

The number of patients recovered is 6452 (the same as yesterday). There are 608 infected people hospitalized (minus one), 92 in intensive care (minus one case).

The overall fatality rate is 4.3% and the fatality rate over 70 years is 16.3%.

According to the DGS, the covid-19 symptoms recorded are: fever in 29% of cases, coughing in 40%, breathing difficulties in 12%, headache in 19%, muscle pain in 21% and generalized weakness in 15%.

The DGS situation report now points to 303 811 suspected cases since the beginning of the year, of which 271 774 have not been confirmed and 2125 people awaiting laboratory results. 22,741 people in Portugal are under surveillance by health authorities.
