A group for Caledonians in Australia

Marie Gittard, who lives in Sydney, takes care of several associations and works in connection with the consulate in Sydney and the embassy in Canberra. She is one of the creators of the discussion group called “NC Solidarité”, available on the application WhatsApp, for Caledonians stranded in Australia.

“We have already created 5 groups of Covid-19 / solidarity and have helped a lot of young French people to return home in 4 days. We have had almost 1500 non-stop exchanges with them and the parents of France who are anxious. With the Caledonians stranded, I begin to have calls from where the need to create this group to answer their questions ” explains Marie Gittard.
