After the Easter holiday period, many are already wondering when will be the next time they will be able to miss work or school without consequences, so below we will tell you which days there will be no work so you can make a plan.
The first official day comes quickly, on Wednesday, May 1, when International Workers’ Day is celebrated. As it is contemplated by the Federal Labor Law (LFT), rest is mandatory both in schools and at work, although if you work that day, companies must cover your salary plus a double salary.
Although it is not official, the next opportunity to rest will be on Friday, May 10, Mother’s Day, when workplaces and schools suspend activities or only do them for a few hours, to allow the queens of the house to celebrate with their relatives such a symbolic date.
The next holiday is Wednesday, May 15, Teacher’s Day, which as it is an official holiday by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), there are no classes in schools throughout the country.
Finally, basic education students will have a new holiday weekend, since there will be no classes on Friday, May 31, due to the School Technical Council meeting, which is held eight times throughout the school year.
