The price of gold stabilized at the start of today’s trading, Sunday 11 December 2022, for all bullets circulating in the Egyptian market.
An ounce of 21-karat gold registered £1710 today, and a pound of gold registered £13,600 thousand, while 24-karat gold, the most common in the Gulf countries, registered a level of £1950.
The price of 18-karat gold, the most common in the cities of Lower Egypt, reached 1470 pounds per gram, and the price of 14-karat gold, the economy category, was recorded at 1140 pounds per gram.
Gold prices are without labour, and the workmanship varies according to each producer, and starts from 60 pounds.
