Gold prices stabilized in Egypt, during the trading today, Monday, the second day of Eid Al-Fitr.
Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-gram gold price today is 762 pounds, the same as yesterday.
The price of one gram of 18 carat gold was about 653 pounds, 24 carats of 871 pounds, and the gold pound was 6096 pounds.
Knowingly, gold prices fell on Monday, as Japanese stocks rose on news of a possible stimulus program, which boosted investor appetite for risk, although new tensions over Hong Kong have limited the metal’s decline, according to Reuters.
By 0700 GMT, the spot price of gold was down 0.5% to $ 1725.18 an ounce. And US gold futures fell 0.6% to $ 1725.60.
