In an interview with The home Actress Marianne Krogness (72) opens up about how she found love again after settling down to live alone.
For several years, Krogness was married to fellow actor and musician Arne Garvang, with whom she has two sons. In 2001, however, they went their separate ways, but remained close friends.

After the breakup, Krogness found that she was successful as a single person, until she met an old acquaintance again two years ago.
– We sat and talked four hours. We just felt the chemistry, it was very nice, said the actor to Hjemmet.
Don’t live together
The man she talked to for hours was the Viking Tor Waaler. They went to high school together, and met at a reunion.
Since then it has been the two of them, but the couple has no plans to live together anytime soon.

Because although Krogness lives in Oslo, Waaler lives at Strand in Sunnmøre. And none of them want to move, so they live equally well on both sides of the country and meet when they can.
It has proven to be a solution they both like.
– None of us want to move, so we go back and forth. Then we get a bit of both, emphasizing the 72-year-old.
– He was lost
Facing Hjemmet, Krogness explains that it is good to find love again when you are an adult, but that it can also be difficult because you get to know each other again.

At the same time, she admits that maybe she wasn’t quite ready for life on her own – as she thought when she became alone.
– It is very good to have a man in your life. I realized that I had lost him, she says.
The two go on walks together, cook dinners, drink wine and chat each other’s heads, and Krigness describes a daily life full of laughter with the man he chose, Waaler.
