JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A married couple with the initials MI (36) and NH (24) were arrested by the police for allegedly stealing Rp. 120 million in cash.
Theft done by transferring money from m-banking on a cell phone found on Jalan Mampang Prapatan II, South Jakarta.
Mampang Prapatan Police Chief Kompol Mashuri said MI and NH were arrested at Pasar Senen Station, Central Jakarta on Tuesday (27/12/2022) at around 11pm WIB.
“Two people we have insured. Yes, husband and wife just got married,” Mashuri said when it was confirmed on Thursday (12/29/2022).

Masuri explained, theft it started when the two perpetrators found a Samsung Galaxy A3 cell phone in the Mampang area.
“They both opened the phone and saw there m-banking, BRIMobile. Enter to forget password”, explained Masuri.
After successful login banking services for smarthpone on the cell phone the two authors saw a large symbolic sum of money. They then transferred IDR 120 million to NH’s account.
“The money transferred to NH’s account was IDR 120,637,000,” Mashuri said.

After receiving a report from the cell phone owner that he was the victim, Mampang Prapatan Police detectives then investigated and arrested the perpetrator.
Police have seized a number of pieces of evidence since the arrest of the perpetrators, namely four mobile phones, three ATM cards, six gold jewels and Rp. 5 million in cash.
Now, the two perpetrators have been detained at the Mampang Prapatan Police Headquarters.
