We have the opportunity to work with a group of scientists and doctors through UCSF to participate in a drug repurposing project that could lead to finding a treatment for our girls’ disease.
NOW ALL WE NEED IS HELP FUNDING THE PROJECT!
OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE $30K THIS WEEK TO GO TOWARD THE COST OF THE PROGRAM!
Drug repurposing is taking existing scientific or medical knowledge and technology that is approved for human use in one disease, and applying this knowledge and technology to another disease or condition.
THIS COULD BE LIFE CHANGING FOR OUR GIRLS!
This pilot program could also advance treatments for many more CDG families, as well as yield valuable findings and insight for other types of rare disease.
$1, $5… we’ll take donations of ANY size. It all helps! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR HELPING US REACH THIS GOAL!
Your support means the world to us. For more information about CDG (Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation), you can visit: http://cdgcare.com/what-is-cdg/.
WE WELCOME YOU TO SHARE AND INVITE OTHERS TO DONATE TO THIS PROJECT AS WELL! Thank you so, so much, again.
All of our love!
