TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Main Director of Rural Bank or BPR Bank Jepara Artha, Jhendik Handoko, responded to the alleged flow of credit from his institution to campaign funds. Credit from BPR belongs to the Regional Government Jepara Regency it was flagged as a suspicious transaction after it was disbursed within a short period of time.
The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center or PPATK revealed that campaign funds in the 2024 general election had other sources. One of them is misuse of loan facilities from BPR. BPR Bank Jepara Artha is suspected of disbursing credit to a party sympathizer with the initials MIA.
During 2022-2023, the total disbursement from BPR to the accounts of 27 debtors will reach IDR 102 billion. From the loan disbursement, cash was withdrawn at the same or close to the same time and then deposited back into the MIA account.
The total funds that entered MIA’s account from credit disbursement reached IDR 94 billion. The funds were then transferred back to several companies such as PT BMG, PT PHN, PT NBM, several individuals, and it is suspected that some of them flowed to the Garudayaksa Nusantara Cooperative.
Jhendik admitted that the flow of funds was released from his institution. “I don’t know about the flow of funds to the Garudayaksa cooperative. All credit disbursement is transferred to the account of the debtor concerned,” he said on Monday, December 18 2023.

Chairman of Gerindra Central Java and General Secretary of Garudayaksa Nusantara, Sudaryono, denied this information. “It is a very serious slander if it is said that the Garudayaksa Nusantara Cooperative and PT Boga Halal Nusantara and PT Panganjaya Halal Nusantara received funds from BPR Jepara Artha,” he said.
He also admitted that he did not know the 27 debtors who took out loans at BPR Bank Jepara Artha. “I don’t even know where the office is. So our cooperative does not receive funds from BPR Jepara Artha,” said Sudaryono.
