Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) – SPD and FDP in the Hessian state parliament present today (12.30) details of their announced lawsuit against the corona special fund of the black-green state government. The two opposition factions had announced that they would go to the State Court of Justice because they consider the shadow budget to be unconstitutional.
With the votes of the CDU and the Greens, the state parliament passed the special fund of twelve billion euros in the summer. It is intended to alleviate the consequences of the corona crisis. This means that loans can be taken out until the end of 2023, for example to offset tax losses for the state and municipalities. According to a legal opinion that the SPD and FDP had commissioned, the state parliament is thereby inadmissibly excluded from the annual approval and control of the money.
