Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Presents Final Budget in Parliament – Earns Praise for Economic Growth and Social Welfare Initiatives

New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has started presenting the second Modi government’s final budget in Parliament. The budget presentation started at 11 am on Thursday.

The Finance Minister said that the Indian economy has grown strongly in the last 10 years. As a result of everyone’s efforts, the country survived the pandemic of the century and started a developed India.

80 crore people were given free food grains. Social justice was implemented by including all sections. A developed India is the stated goal. Corruption has been reduced. Nepotism and nepotism decreased.

Emphasis was placed on the welfare of farmers, women, youth and the poor. As the country develops, so must they.

The welfare of the poor is the welfare of the nation. 20 crore people have been lifted out of poverty. Nirmala Sitharaman also said that Rs 34 crore has reached the people directly through the Jan Dhan account.

75 lakh street vendors have been given assistance. 11.8 crore farmers got help through PM Kisan Yojana.

Various schemes were implemented for youth empowerment. 1.4 crore youths have been trained through Skill India Mission.

3000 new ITIs and 15 AIIMS have been set up. The Finance Minister stated that 43 crore loans have been passed through the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana.

Ahead of the Budget, the Finance Minister had visited President Draupadi Murmu. Then came to Parliament.

The last parliamentary session of the second Modi government is underway. The Finance Minister presents the Interim Budget. As Lok Sabha elections are around the corner, the budget gives priority to welfare activities.
