As part of MWC 2023, Xiaomi has announced the global availability of the previously announced Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone models.
Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 smartphones got Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and improved Leica cameras. Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 6.73-inch LTPO screen with 120 Hz, 1440 x 3200 resolution, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The screen has a maximum screen brightness of 1200 cd/m² and up to 1900 cd/m² in HDR mode. The Xiaomi 13 Pro uses LPDDR5X RAM and ultra-fast UFS 4.0 built-in storage.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro has three 50-megapixel cameras – a 1-inch Sony IMX989 1.6µm sensor with a Leica lens and Hyper OIS image stabilization. The telephoto camera also has triple magnification and Leica Floating Lens technology, as well as the ability to focus 10 cm from the subject. The smartphone has a 4820mAh battery along with a dedicated Xiaomi Surge G1 charging processor and 120W wired charging. Wireless charging reaches 50 W.
The price of the Xiaomi 13 Pro for Europe is set at 1,299 euros, which is quite a lot even when comparing the Xiaomi 13 Pro with the Galaxy S23 series and the new iPhones.
The Xiaomi 13 has a smaller 6.36-inch screen with 1080 x 2400 at 120 Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR10+. The smaller Xiaomi 13 also got a Leica 50-megapixel camera with f/1.8, 23mm lens and 1/1.56″, 1.0µm sensor with Hyper OIS. Xiaomi 13 will have slower 67W charging and 50W wireless charging.
The price of the Xiaomi 13 for Europe is 999 euros, which is also a lot.
