Finally Saudi opened his voice on the assassination of Hamas Boss Ismail Haniyeh

Saudi Arabia he announced the assassination of the head of the Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniyeh it is a flagrant violation of sovereignty Iran and international law.

Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Walid al-Khuraiji, said this at a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah on Wednesday (7/8). This is Saudi Arabia’s first direct statement responding to Haniyeh’s murder.

Reporting from Al Arabiyaal-Khuraiji emphasized that Haniyeh’s assassination was a direct threat to regional stability and peace.

At that time, he also criticized Israel for increasing violence against Palestinian civilians, as well as highlighting Israel’s disregard for international agreements and resolutions on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the Make the West Bank worse.

Al-Khuraiji emphasized the difficult situation facing Palestinians such as lack of food, medicine and fuel, as well as the heavy burden on the health sector.

He also confirmed that Saudi Arabia condemned Israel’s attacks on civilians and asked the international community to hold the Israeli forces accountable for their actions.

Al-Khuraiji also confirmed Saudi Arabia’s support for a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, calling for an end to the Israeli occupation and the achievement of a solution that allows the establishment of a Palestinian state in accordance with international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative.

Ismail Haniyeh died at his home in Teheran, Iran, on Wednesday (31/7) early in the morning. He was in Iran to attend the inauguration of the new President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, on Tuesday (30/7).

Based on the results of an investigation by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Haniyeh was killed by a bullet. The shot was aimed at the room where Haniyeh was staying at the guesthouse hosting guests of the Iranian state.

Several countries also condemned Haniyeh’s murder, including Iran. Among the countries that have been criticized are Iraq, Syria, Algeria, Jordan, Oman, Yemen, Kuwait, Tunisia, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, even China and Russia.
