The popular anti-hero Deadpool is coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The big question is when. The official Deadpool twitter account has provided a hopeful update on the production this week.
Ryan Reynolds is actually the only actor allowed to bring his X-Men character Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Disney’s acquisition of Fox.
Integration into MCU
Fans are especially wondering how Deadpool will fit into the family-friendly MCU. After all, the mutant is very foul-mouthed and his films contain a lot of violence, blood, nudity and rude comments. They therefore have an R rating.
Previously, former Disney boss Bob Iger promised that the studio, which normally does not make R-rated content, would make an exception for Deadpool. Whether that is still the case under the new boss Bob Chapek, remains to be seen.
The makers have now announced that they have figured out exactly how Deadpool can be intrigued in the MCU. In addition, they let you know that writing the script is the next step.

Shawn Levy shall Deadpool 3 directing. Reynolds also made the successful films with him Free Guy in The Adam Project† It is unknown if other characters from the first two films will return.
In any case, it is clear that Deadpool 3 will have to wait a little longer.
