Finally competition for OLED – The Sony A95K tested – Image and sound – Videos

About what we think. I prefer consistency. So during the day and in the evening a screen that shows exactly the same. Then as a human being I can choose to open curtains, turn lights on or off, change viewing angles, etc.

Still, this QD-OLED still looks very good in terms of technology, so it would hardly influence my consideration for a purchase.

What strikes me about the video presentation: it contains some demos. I can’t experience that on my non-OLED screen. Still, those kinds of demos seem great, even on old screens. There is also an image that compares the brightness of the ‘old’ OLED with the new QD-OLED. There OLED suddenly looks like a TFT screen from 2005. It’s a bit unfair, because every modern consumer OLED screen gives a fantastic and clear image and better than anything from before 2020.

(It’s a shame that tweakers also follow the trend of begging for likes and comments. Good content doesn’t need that.)
