While the multiplexes have to remain closed for the time being, the arthouse and open-air cinemas are finally allowed to start operating under Corona conditions. There is with Pablo Larraíns Mom To see exactly the right film after a long period of abstinence: a cinematographic frenzy, anarchic, shimmering, visually stunning. In addition, is Mom equipped with a soundtrack by the Chilean-American musician Nicolas Jaar that alternates between a wobbling electric carpet and a pounding reggae tone. The film literally screams for the big screen and flares away all expectations.
