Before the launch of Chartres en lumière, every evening from April 30 until January 14, 2023, preparations are in full swing throughout the city to install all the equipment necessary to highlight the heritage of Chartres.
The teams have already completed the reassembly: all the projection devices have been replaced in the apartments or dedicated places. The intensive maintenance phase of the various installations has also been completed for several days.
The first settings, on the twenty-one or so sites that visitors will be able to discover this year, began on April 20.

A “dress rehearsal”, not open to the public, should take place on Thursday April 28, in order to “allow final touches to be made if there are any the next day and be ready for the launch of the event, Saturday April 30. “says Laurent Lhuillery, municipal councilor responsible for highlighting heritage.
