To see the fireworks festival on this day, citizens soon visited Yeouido Hangang Park. About 40 tents for 3-4 people were set up on the lawn in front of the water taxi stand at Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul from 9am the same day. Citizens who could not bring tents sat on mats in their padded winter jackets and the thick blankets they had brought. The lawns of Yeouido Hangang Park were already full of tents and mats to the point that there were no gaps.

Seoul and other cities predicted that up to 1 million people would gather at the festival on this day. In preparation for a crowd of citizens, Yeoui-dong-ro (the southern end of the Mapo Bridge ~ in front of Building 63) was fully guarded from 2pm to 11pm the same day. Public transport is also difficult to use. 19 bus lines passing close to Yeouido run from 1pm to 2pm, bypassing the control section (Yeoui-dong-ro). Metro line 5 went through Yeouinaru station flexibly without stopping around 5pm.
