The stadium of the third division soccer club MSV Duisburg will host the final of the “European League of Football” next year. On September 24, 2023, the still young league will conclude its third season with the “Championship Game” in the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena (photo). A total of 18 teams from ten nations are represented in the American Football League. Duisburg is the home stadium of the Rhein Fire team (formerly Düsseldorf).
Eight German teams aim for the final in Duisburg next season: Berlin Thunder, Hamburg Sea Devils, Frankfurt Galaxy, Rhein Fire, Cologne Centurions, Stuttgart Surge, Leipzig Kings and Munich Ravens. Defending champions Vienna Vikings and Raiders Tirol from Austria, Barcelona Dragons (Spain), Panthers Wroclaw (Poland), Istanbul Rams (Turkey), Milano Seamen (Italy), Prague Lions (Czech Republic), l Hungary Enthroners (Hungary), Helvetic Guards (Switzerland) and Paris Football Team (France) in the “European League of Football”.
