Charpentier expressed his sorrow,lamenting,”I’m left with my friend leaving happy. He was different and we were about to witness a new stage for Jorge because he no longer wanted to be involved in politics and wanted to do new things. It’s a shame that it didn’t arrive.”
He further recalled their close bond, stating, “He was always there for me. He was with me, even when he couldn’t walk, he was next to me, he was in a wheelchair, and he was always next to me.” Charpentier also highlighted Lanata’s supportive nature, adding, “He always spoke well to me, he wanted the best for me and when he had to tell me to get my act together he did it.”
