Final Fantasy XVI Update 1.03 Adds Motion Blur Fix for PlayStation 5 Players

This morning, the official Final Fantasy XVI Twitter account revealed new information about the just-announced game. update 1.03 including one of the most requested graphics tuning fixes for PlayStation 5 exclusive players,motion blur.

Until now, you couldn’t adjust or suppress this blur, which caused discomfort for many players, leading to some cases of motion sickness. It looks like those days are over, and now we can enjoy Clive Rosefield’s stories without feeling physically ill.

Final Fantasy XVI 1.03 Release Notes

Added the following items to the System tab of the main menu:
Motion Blur Strength
Allows the player to adjust the strength of the motion blur effect when the character or camera is in motion. The default is set to a maximum value of 5. This value can be lowered to reduce the intensity of the motion blur effect, or set to 0 to turn it off completely.
Player follows (moves)
Player Follows (Attack)
Turning these settings off prevents the camera from automatically following the player when moving and attacking respectively
Changed the maximum settings of the Camera Sensitivity (Horizontal) and Camera Sensitivity (Vertical) items from 10 to 20.
Added three new controller layouts: types D, E, and F.
Corrected an issue affecting the stability of some menus.
Corrected some text issues.
