Final Fantasy XVI Showcases 18 Minute Dungeon Exploration Gameplay

With the release getting closer, with the stronger the hype surrounding it, Square Enix seems to be desperately trying to ensure that your attention is not diverted from its flagship RPG game – Final Fantasy XVI. That after nearly a year of sharing so much information with the public, the opportunity to see, feel and enjoy it with your own hands, eyes and head is getting closer. Moreover, this series also presents something new and different, both from stories, characters, to gameplay. Something they’ve showcased again with IGN.

Collaborating with the IGN First feature, Square Enix showcased the 18-minute gameplay of Final Fantasy XVI which was showcased through the exploration of two different dungeons. Like dungeons in RPG games in general, the focus is of course on fighting action where you can see Clive being able to access Phoenix, Ramuh, and Garuda’s abilities at the same time here. Enemies come in various sizes and thicknesses of HP, where mini-bosses certainly need their own time to be subdued while relying on the Stagger strategy for greater damage.
