Author in an interview with YouTube channel GamerBraves admitted that the main game was created with an eye to a completely finished story, which does not require any additions and sequels.
However, many players who have already completed FF16 expressed a desire to see some new content for the game – this did not pass by the developers.
Yoshida noted that now the authors are considering the issue of additional content and hope that in the future they will be able to release some kind of DLC.
In the past, by the way, it became known that sales of the entire Final Fantasy series exceeded 180 million copies, and the voice actor Aids of FF16 praised the game’s scenario.
