According to the producer Naoki Yoshidaa new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI is already ready, but has been postponed “for various reasons”. He believes it should be released soon. Yoshida also assured that the team is putting a lot of effort into development, replaying the game to polish it, fix bugs and the like.

The game is being developed by the studio Creative Business Unit III and Square Enixmade by Naoki Yoshida (Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn) and directed by Hiroshi Takai (The Last Remnant).
