Square Enix originally had no plans to release more content for Final Fantasy XVI. However, following the game’s success and fan feedback, the developer has changed its mind, and work is now underway on new adventures in Valisthea.
During PAX West this weekend, game director Naoki Yoshida revealed that Square is working on two expansions for Final Fantasy XVI. What they are about or how extensive they will be has not yet been confirmed, but they will cost money.

Furthermore, Yoshida confirmed that Final Fantasy XVI is coming to PC, something Square has previously expressed a desire to achieve. Exactly when the new platform version will be ready has not been determined, but fans should know more about the PC version and the two expansions during the year.
