During the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2023 event, which takes place in Las Vegas, some interesting and unexpected news came out.

Square Enix and Microsoft are pleased to announce that the multiplayer role-playing game Final Fantasy XIV is coming to Xbox consoles.
Since its release, Final Fantasy XIV has been available only on PC and PlayStation, but in 2024 the game will also be released on American consoles.
Open testing of the Xbox Series version is scheduled for spring 2024.
Square Enix CEO Takashi Kiryu stated:
Starting with the announcement of the release of Final Fantasy XIV in the spring of 2024, we plan to make our games available on Xbox as soon as possible so that players around the world can enjoy them.
For those who are not in the know
Final Fantasy XIV came out in I don’t remember what year and was met with harsh criticism. But over time, the developers took into account all the comments and wishes of the players and gradually managed to bring the game to excellent quality, thanks to which the MMORPG is currently very popular.
