Final Fantasy XIV relaunches its Dragon Quest event in July, pending update 5.3.
While the updates from Final Fantasy XIV are generally given on a very regular basis, players will have to find patience in order to wait for 5.3, which, because of the Covid-19, has suffered a delay which should logically not go beyond July. However, pending the continuation of the story of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, we will have to find something to take care of. And after having put forward the event around the universe of Final Fantasy XI, it is the turn of Dragon Quest to invite themselves back into the MMO of Square Enix.
This event, entitled “Out of the ordinary Golems”, will take place from July 2 at 10:00 am to July 27 at 4:59 pm and will offer you, in an atmosphere in the colors of the Dragon Quest series, to perform several Hazards that will ask you, we will tell you give in a thousand, to fight the famous creatures of the license. To participate in this event, you will have to go to Havak Alvak at Faubourg de Nald (X: 12.1 Y: 8.2), who will offer you a series of quests with cosmetic rewards, which will allow you to bring some originality to your outfit.
As for the previous event, as it is a repetition, we warn you anyway, if you had already participated in it previously, you will not be able to relaunch the sequence of quests in order to relive this experience. You will only have to continue quietly farming relic weapons for all of your character’s jobs if you have not already done so.
Finally, for update 5.3 of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, we will get back to you as soon as we have more information, especially regarding the content. Will it be less consistent than usual? Wait and see…
