It was an exciting night for fans of Final Fantasy XIV and we also stayed up until 2:30 am to watch this fantastic announcement live via livestreams. But finally the new expansion has been announced. His name is Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker and will be released sometime in the fall of this year. The teaser trailer (which will probably be expanded next March) can be viewed at the bottom of the page.
In Endwalker we go to the moon and the epic story between Hydaelyn and Zodiark comes to an end. This does not mean an end for the game, but simply that after the main story of the new expansion we will take a new path. A new class has also been announced, the Sage. This will be a Healer.
Furthermore, there is simply too much talked about to name it all. For example, Anima is out Final Fantasy X announced as an enemy and the new raid will be called “Pandemonium”. While it will have a new storyline according to Square Enix, Pandemonium is something we already know from Final Fantasy II in Final Fantasy IX, so we immediately started speculating.
