Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition seems to offer local co-op again • Nintendo Connect

A few days ago confirmed Square Enix that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition on August 27, 2020 for Nintendo Switch and to be published on other platforms. While the game’s online multiplayer, cross-play, and cross-save features were mentioned again, there has been no word so far about whether you can connect locally with your friends – similar to the original Game Cube, only without Game Boy Advance and without link cable.

The revised version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles however, it actually seems to offer a couch-co-op option. The official PlayStation website we can see the following text:
