It is placed in front of the tireless Call of Duty: Modern Warfare or in front of the success of March, namely Animal Crossing: New Horizons. But that’s not all, indeed, Final Fantasy VII Remake also established a new record launch for the saga, since the title now exceeds 6 million copies sold by Final Fantasy XV during its first month of marketing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As a reminder, in just three days, the digital version of Final Fantasy VII Remake had sold to 3.5 million copies worldwide.
Finally, Final Fantasy VII Remake also ranks third among the best-selling titles of 2020 in the United States. The highest step of the podium is obviously reached by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, while the second is occupied by Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
