Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Platinum Trophy Bug Discovered – How to Fix It

Who the digital version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth cannot currently achieve Platinum. One specific questline seems to have been bugged since the 1.020 patch, meaning that the requirements for the corresponding trophy are not registered.

It involves one of the final side missions in the game, called “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop.” The trophy that accompanies the mini-game does not seem to be awarded, so players cannot obtain Platinum.

Those who own the physical version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth may have better luck. You can then simply delete the game and reinstall it from the disc after disconnecting your PS5 from the internet. This way the 1.020 patch will not be downloaded and if you still have a save file from before the patch, you can still get the trophy.

Anyone who has the digital version will have to wait for an update from Square Enix to solve the problem.
