Final Fantasy XVI was announced at PlayStation Showcase 2020 and came as a surprise to fans of the series. Recently appeared information, according to which the sixteenth part has been created for more than four years and the premiere may take place “earlier than expected.”
There is one more piece of news. The game was awarded the highest age category – PEGI 18. The information appeared in a special promotional letter from Square Enix. It looks like the next game in the cult series will be the most brutal in history. Until now, no product in the cycle has received such a high age qualification.
For example, Final Fantasy Type-0 and Final Fantasy XV are assigned PEGI 16.
However, it is not yet known what exactly the players will see: a sea of blood, torn to pieces by opponents, scenes with nudity or cruelty when killing the main character. We are waiting for details from rating systems
