In addition to version 11.0 of Apple‘s Final 1 application on Mac, a new version of the Final Cut Pro application on iPad and Final Cut Camera on iPhone is available for download.
With version 2.1 of Final Cut Pro on iPad and version 1.1 of Final Cut Camera on iPhone, Apple has taken care to bring several new features.
What’s new in Final Cut Pro 2.1 on iPad
Final Cut Pro for iPad 2.1 includes the following features and enhancements:
- Automatically enhance the color, color balance, contrast, and brightness of videos and still images using the new “Enhance Light and Color” effect powered by machine learning.
- Add live drawing animations to your videos with new watercolor, pencil, fountain pen, and single line inks.
- Highlight visuals with new Reframe effects, add video overlays with modular transitions, and polish your content with even more color grading and trailer presets.
- Edit high frame rate data based on the timeline for 90, 100, and 120 fps settings. • Experience tactile feedback as you edit and navigate your projects with Apple Pencil Pro.
- Increase the efficiency of new keyboard shortcuts for common tasks in the browser and timeline.
- Dynamically adjust the size and position of the viewer in Picture-in-Picture mode.
What’s new in Final Cut Camera 1.1 on iPhone
Final Cut Camera 1.1 includes the following features and enhancements:
- Preview your Log video in SDR or HDR without losing the vibrancy of the original scene by enabling LUT for Apple Log LUT when recording. (Requires iPhone 15 Pro or later.)
- Record in Log and HEVC for increased flexibility and dynamic range, as well as lower file sizes. (Requires iPhone 15 Pro or later.)
- Compose your video precisely using the level with tilt and roll indicators or pointers for shots from above.
- Record high-quality 4K video at up to 120fps with an iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
