Ajax has said goodbye to Noa Lang. The wing attacker makes the transfer to the Belgian Club Brugge, that club has announced. It concerns a rental transfer with a mandatory purchase option.
Ajax coach Erik ten Hag no longer had any plans for Lang, who was only allowed to make seven minutes this season. He was already rented to FC Twente for the past six months. Club Brugge and Ajax reached an agreement on Monday about the transfer of Lang. He still had a contract with Ajax for two seasons, until the summer of 2022.
In the Jan Breydel Stadium Lang meets one fellow countryman: Ruud Vormer has been playing for since 2014 Blue-Black. Club Brugge during the prematurely broken down Jupiler Pro Leagueseason was declared national champion. Philippe Clement’s team won the Anderlecht squatter on Sunday with 3-0 and is second after eight rounds, one point behind the surprising leader Charleroi.
