Video calls via WhatsApp (App Store-Link) are you too bored? You can spice up your video calls with new filters and backgrounds. During a video call, you can change the background or add a filter to make the call more personal.
WhatsApp continues:
Filters are designed to create a playful atmosphere, whether by adding a pop of color or giving your video an artistic touch. With backgrounds you can keep your surroundings private and transport yourself to a cozy cafe or comfortable living room for a fresh and professional appearance.
At the start there are ten filters and ten background images to choose from, which can also be combined with each other.
- Filter options: Warm, Cool, Black & White, Light Leak, Dreamy, Prism Light, Fisheye, Classic TV, Frosted Glass and Two Tone.
- Background options: Blur, Living Room, Office, Cafe, Pebbles, Foodie, Smoosh, Beach, Sunset, Celebration and Forest.
There are also two new options, Refine and Low Light, which naturally improve the appearance and brightness of the environment.
If you want to try out the new filters and background images, make sure you have the latest app version installed. During an individual or group video call, you can click the effects icon on the right side of the screen and browse through the available styles. The new filters and images will be made available to all users over the next week.
