The Filmstadt Spooky Tour will take place for the seventh time from October 18th to November 2nd. The horror event for everyone aged 16 and over. The combination of immersive theater in real film sets, haunted house elements and scare zones make this horror event unique in Europe. The program is rounded off with additional attractions such as “Mørkheim City of Darkness” (an escape experience) and virtual reality experience in the Hologate Arena.
At night, when the gates of the film city are closed, eerie creatures rule the area. Eerie screams can be heard from behind the scenes. Can the guests escape the menacing rulers of the night or will they remain trapped in their nightmare forever? During the approximately 75-minute spooky tour, 50 actors dressed as zombies and mysterious creatures as well as special effects transform the sets of the film city into a superlative interactive horror film and get the guests’ adrenaline soaring.
If you like things even more frightening and spooky, you’ll get your money’s worth with the escape game “Mørkheim – City of Darkness”. In Mørkheim, escaped creatures drive visitors to the film city crazy. Due to a dark force, the residents have mutated into flesh-eating creatures and dismember anyone who crosses their path. The guests’ task is to uncover the secret of the fifth element and thus escape the eternal darkness.
In addition to a new splendor in the horror maze “Hotel zum Biss” and a not entirely safe mission in the labyrinth of Apolyptica, visitors can expect the new outdoor maze “Path of Terror” this year. Try to escape the eternal labyrinth and don’t let the guards of the field catch you, otherwise it will be your last walk in the open air.
In the entrance area of the Bavaria Filmstadt, guests can expect a catering area and the HOLOGATE Arena with virtual reality offerings such as “Zombyte” and “Ghostbusters”, where you can train to become a ghost hunter.
The popular family Halloween will take place again this year on October 31, 2023 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The thematically decorated entrance area is transformed into a wild cauldron. In addition to spooky hairstyles, themed play stations, walking acts and a competition, guests will be surprised with other offers for the little ones. Children in great scary costumes are expressly welcome – the Filmstadt team is looking forward to numerous mummies, witches and vampires.
