Feature film Germany 2010 Anna Lechner (Gesine Cukrowski) has hit the jackpot: she loves her work as a flower wholesaler in Amsterdam, and she has found her dream man in Ed Verkerk (Daan Schuurmans), an ambitious tulip grower. The only thing missing for complete happiness is a child. But since they can’t have their own offspring, Anna and Ed want to adopt a baby. But before that can happen, Anna receives shocking news: her father Wenzel (Arthur Brauss), who is ill, is in hospital. Anna immediately rushes home to Munich. On her deathbed, Wenzel makes her promise that Anna will look after her younger sister Lilli (Chiara Schoras). Lilli is the complete opposite of the self-confident Anna. Since a serious car accident as a child in which her mother died, Lilli has been unable to walk and has to wear a leg brace. Lilli, full of complexes because of her disability, is unable to run the family business, a flower mail order business. Anna stays in Munich for the time being to help Lilli, and quickly falls back into her old role as Lilli’s protector, which makes Lilli feel patronized. Tensions arise between the sisters. With Gesine Cukrowski, Chiara Schoras, Daan Schuurmans, Beat Marti, Arthur Brauss and others | Script: Johannes Lackner and Monika Peetz | Director: Ilse Hofmann
