Films shot in Auvergne Rhône Alpes

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region is well represented this year at the Cannes Film Festival. As for the films on the list for the Official Selection, La Nuit du 12, by Dominik Moll and L’Innocent, by Louis Garrel were co-produced by Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma.

La Nuit du 12, screened this Saturday at 10 p.m. at Pathé Bellecour, was largely shot between Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Villargondran, Grenoble and Eybens.

Two other films have been selected for La Quinzaine des Réalisateurs, and are also co-produced by Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma. Les Cinq Diables, by Léa Mysius, which was largely shot in Isère and La Montagne, by Thomas Salvador, which honors the mountain ranges of Upper Savoy.

With a jury chaired by actor Vincent Lindon, the 75th Cannes Film Festival is being held from May 17 to 28, 2022 on the Croisette. Many films are competing there this year to win the famous Palme d’Or at the world’s largest film festival.
