Films along the Maroni

It is an intercultural exchange project through film productions and broadcasts along the Maroni river.
“Films over the Maroni”, consists of bringing together various villages in Haut-Maroni by setting up workshops and showing films all along the river during the months of July and August.
Three stages will follow one another: Maripasoula, Papaïchton and Kayodé, allowing to approach the Creole cultures, Aluku and Wayana whose languages, legends and habits are very different.

1st Papaïchton workshop from July 19 to 23
2nd Maripasoula workshop from July 26 to 30
3rd Kayode workshop from August 2 to 6
Canoe film screenings
August 10 at 6.30 p.m .: Kayodé degradation
August 11 at 6.30 p.m .: degradation of Maripasoula
August 12 at 6.30 p.m .: degradation of Papaïchton
(subject to health protocol – gauge: 40 people)
