As part of the Festival Pyrénicimes, Le Grand Central cinema offers you the screening of the documentary film Neighborhoods at the topin the presence of the director and the protagonists, with whom you will be able to discuss at the end of the session.
Synopsis
Considering climbing the peaks when growing up in a concrete forest is not easy. This is why the association Neighborhoods at the top works to open the path to success for audiences geographically or socially distant from the mountain world.
In 2022, an atypical group of 30 teenagers from the Priority Education Network colleges of Saint-Denis (93) and Cannes (06) are attempting to climb the highest peak in Corsica: Monte Cinto (2,706m) .
This documentary film traces the journey of these college students, from their preparation in the heart of the neighborhoods, to the paths of their own summit.
Prices: €6 (€4.50 for children under 14).
