Manila – A Social Weather Stations (SWS) poll released on Sunday showed that Filipino boxing icon and former Senator Manny Pacquiao is leading their poll of local voters’ preferred senators for the next election. – klajoo.com – According to SWS, results of the April 15-18 national poll showed Pacquiao receiving the most votes, followed by Senator Ramon Revilla Jr. and former Senator Vicente Sotto III.
Other Senators in the top 12 included 4th Sen. Christopher Go, 5th former Sen. Manuel Villar Jr., 6th Sen. Manuel Lapid, 7th Sen. Ronald dela Rosa, 8th Sen. Imee Marcos, 9th Sen. Erwin Tulfo , 10th former President Rodrigo Duterte, 11th Senator Panfilo Lacson and in 12th place Senator Pia Cayetano.
In 13th place came former Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, followed by former Vice Presidents Leni Robredo and Jejomar Binay, attorney Chel Diokno, and former Senators Antonio Trillanes IV, Francis Pangilinan, and Senator Dick Gordon.
Other senators included on the list include former presidential spokesman Harry Roque, attorney Larry Gadon, former Senator Bam Aquino, former Home Secretary Mar Roxas, TV host Willie Revillame, Dr. Willie Ong, former Senator Franklin Drilon, newly appointed Secretary of Defense Gilbert Teodoro, former Senator Gringo Honasan and former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.
