Slovak tennis player Filip Polášek with Croatian Ivan Dodig did not succeed in entering the champions’ doubles tournament in Turin.

As the six of them, they lost in the green group with four “spider” spaniel Marcel Granollers and Argentine Horacio Zeballos after a two-hour three-hour fight 6: 4, 6: 7 (10), 6:10. In the second act, they did not use four swordsmen.

On Tuesday, they will play against the Germans Kevin Krawietz and the Romanian Hori Tecau.

At 4: 2, however, Dodig lost the serve, in the twelfth game they did not use three swordsmen with Polášek, and the secretary decided on the second set. In its dramatic ending, the Granollers celebrated their success with Zeballos. At 8: 9, they averted the fourth swordball after the Argentine’s world strike and eventually forced a decisive supersecret, in which they dominated.

Polášek and Dodig qualified for Turin as the winners of the Australian Open Grand Slam, and although they broke up in the summer, they play together in Italy. Polášek and his new doubling partner, the Australian John Peers, finished just below the ATP Race in ninth place. In 2019, at the joint premiere at the Masters in London’s 02 arena, Polášek and Dodig did not advance from the group.
