Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane praised the performance of his players in their 4-0 victory over Real Zaragoza in the King’s Cup round of 16.
Real Madrid continued their winning streak, achieving their seventh consecutive victory before facing Atletico Madrid on Saturday in the 22nd round of La Liga.
After the win, Zidane said: “The match was not easy, but we made it easier by focusing and high pressure on the opponent and early registration, and this allowed us to play more freely.”
“At the defense level, we were good at dealing with the opponent, the defense is well related to the mentality, the players are focused and we want to play well.”
Zidane praised his attacker Karim Benzema, saying: “Benzema always delights us and I am happy for him and the team in general because we scored and we were good.”
“We went through to the next round, and we have a complicated match against Athletic on Saturday,” he added.
“This will be the end of the Lega,” he said.
